Saturday, April 6, 2019: SIPA Alumni Day and Class Reunion Dinner

Join your fellow alumni for SIPA's annual Alumni Day, followed by the Class Reunion Dinner celebrating alumni who graduated in years ending in 4 and 9.

Attire for Alumni Day and Reunion Dinner is business casual.

Keynote Speaker:

Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin MIA '03

Elissa Slotkin was elected in November 2018 to represent Michigan’s 8th district in the U.S. House of Representatives. Previously, as the Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs in the Obama Administration, she was the principal advisor to the Under Secretary of Defense and Secretary of Defense on security strategy and policy issues related to the nations and international organizations of Europe (including the North Atlantic Treaty Organization), Russia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Western Hemisphere.

Alumni Day: 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Registration includes Keynote Lunch, afternoon panels, and closing Cocktail Reception.
*Registration for Alumni Day will take place at Faculty House. Panels will take place at IAB*

Alumni Day features a day of panels, discussions and networking opportunities. The program begins at noon with a lunch hosted by Dean Merit Janow and keynote speaker Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin MIA '03. In the afternoon policy experts and SIPA faculty will discuss a range of topics including global trade, disinformation, immigration, sustainable finance and gender policy. The day ends with a cocktail reception for Alumni Day and Class Reunion participants.

Class Reunion Dinner: 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Registration includes Cocktail Reception and Class Reunion Dinner.
*Registration for Class Reunion Dinner will take place at Low Memorial Library*

The Class Reunion Dinner will celebrate class years ending in 4 and 9 but all alumni and guests are welcome and encouraged to attend.
